The College of Education of Aurora University is looking for a qualified Instructor to teach in the Coaching and Youth Sports Development Program. The available classes include: Competitive Sport for Children and Youth, Sport Management, and Technology in Sport Promotions and Programming. These classes require expertise in sport administration/management and coaching.

Assistant/Associate Professor, Tenure Track, Kinesiology: Sport Studies
University of New Hampshire 

The Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire is currently seeking applicants for a tenured/tenure-track track appointment in Sport Studies at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with a start date of August, 2014. The University actively creates and nurtures a dynamic learning environment in which qualified individuals of differing perspectives, life experiences and cultural backgrounds pursue academic goals with mutual respect and a shared spirit of inquiry. The successful candidate will have a terminal degree (PhD, EdD, JD) in Sport Studies, Sport Management, or a related area, and have expertise in Athletic Administration and/or Sport Marketing. The Kinesiology: Sport Studies option focuses on school and college based athletics, and coaching at any level. Collaborative efforts in research and scholarship within the Department, Institutes, College, and University are a tenet of The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). Current faculty research interests are focused on issues in intercollegiate athletics. Applicants are expected to seek external funding and should demonstrate skill in working productively with culturally diverse constituents and the ability to cultivate external relations.

Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is highly valued at the University of New Hampshire and teaching experience with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively is extremely desirable. Candidates should show evidence of outstanding teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Courses that may be taught by the candidate include: Sport Marketing, Athletic Administration, The Sport Industry, Sport Law, and additional special topics in Sport Studies. Additionally career experience in coaching, marketing and/or athletic administration is expected.
